New Baby, Dayhome, crazy days ahead!

Oh geez have I ever turned into a pathetic blogger. Things have been crazy in our neck of the woods. We found out that I was pregnantin June, but I am the type that keeps pregnancy pretty hush-hush until its obvious. I am now 24 weeks and I think 3 days along and getting big, nervous and a little bit excited. Since my youngest isn't even a year yet these babes will be very close in age...about 14 months apart...YIKES! Anyways this is or last baby. 4 is what we wanted and 4 is what we were given. Oh and its another GIRL, so 2 girls and 2 boys!
I also opened a Day Home. I needed to do something and a day home seemed like the perfect fit for our lifestyle. I currently have one little guy in my care and have had a ton of calls, so far so good! Anyone out there have any tips about running a wonderful dayhome let me know.

I also opened my own Etsy shop and have sold nothing online yet. I have been making banners for awhile now. My girlfriend started making them and I am following in her footsteps and started making them as a hobby. If your interested let me know. I am currently taking orders locally for Christmas so if your interested for Christmas decorations or gifts let me know.

:)

Camping

I am really not a huge fan of camping.
It is a chore to pack a bunch of clothes, food, bottles, plates, untensils, etc.
I get dirty, and my kids gets filthy. We smell like campfire, and the outhouse is almost unbearable!
**
We had a fun camping adventure. Middle Man pooped his pants because he was scared of the outhouse, L cried constantly since she is teething, My husband took his dirt bike for a ride and got about 5km(not sure what that is in miles) out and his bike broke down, so he had to push it back...needless to say he was missing for quite some time. Jay he had fun. He rode a miny quad for about 48 hours straight, In his attempt to perfect his driving he hit someone's brand new camper, an outhouse, and cut his throat when he hit a tree.
I served my family hotdogs for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I ate different varities of bread...YUM.
I can't wait to head out again soon!
Jay riding the quad

L wondering why I am giving her stawberries in a mesh bag...ewww Mom!

Middle Mans first quad attempt with daddy

Quading with his big bro...much better!

Mmmm...Addictive

Yes I have been missing for a week or more.

June is a busy month filled with Preschool grad, kindergarten excitment, teething wonders, me falling down the stairs and landing on my tailbone and then peeing my pants...you know all that good stuff!

~~~~~~~~
My Addictions as of June 18th-2009
1. Diet Pepsi/Diet Dr. Pepper
2. Farm Town on Facebook!
3. Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburg Penguins! ( I really don't have like 50 picture's of him on my computer)
4. Lettuce Wraps, anyone have a recipe?
5. Rain, we don't get it alot so its been nice.
Ps. Here's hoping my tailbone is not broken...I heard the Dr. has to stick a good old finger up the rear to find out, really looking foward to it!
Van Etiquette
I drive a van.
I never thought I would.
2 years ago we traded in our little Honda CRV for a Van. My husband was all into the whole van scene.
As soon as I got into the drivers seat I felt like I needed to hike my pants up to my chest and have enormous underwear lines.
I felt at least 20 years older.
There is definitely etiquette that you need to follow when driving a van.
  1. First you must never have the music up loud enough to be heard by other drivers or passerbys.
  2. You can't race other drivers; not that I would ever do anything like that...
  3. Never try to look cool while driving, you will just embarrass yourself, and last but not least
  4. Do not remove the seats in the rear of the van and try to take a nap in a parkade; it is not a camper, and you will almost likely suffocate.
This is me about 2 years ago. Posing with the van.
Pondering
Pondering Thoughts
Why is my 'rich' neighboor such a snob? Is it because her family has more money then mine? what is the reason?
I don't understand why people can be so mad and grumpy all the time.
Whats with Eco friendly toilet paper? Whats the difference, I cant tell the difference.
Does being angry more often come with age?
They called the city on us because the wind carried a bag and a bottle onto their driveway, did it happen, yes, but why?
Why can't I fall asleep easily anymore?
Is fitting with someone via cell phone while shopping a new trend?
Love Affair
When I opened my front door last Saturday morning I felt the warm air hit my face, and then something BIG and BLUE caught my eye. It was the most amazing thing I had seen for some time. I ran out the front door still in my pajamas. I greeted my new friend with open arms. I peeled off the plastic bag, and quickly pulled out the brochure. My city finally decided to start a curb side recycling program. And I was given a giant BLUE bin to fill with everything I could find...laundry soap bottles, big formula cans, bags, etc. My BLUE bin is getting fuller and fuller by the day and I am stoked.
Hunk...I mean The Hulk
This is the Hulk pictured below. He is a fictional comic book character that turns into a huge man with super strength. When he gets super strength he turns green.
My boys love him. They have seen Hulk movies and cartoons, and own a few hulks of their own. The funny thing is they call him the Hunk. Yes the hunk. Its not a word used much anymore but I remember when I was growing up a hunk was a good looking boy. J started saying this when he was little and Middle Man got it from him. I heard them playing today and its hilarious. I just don't have the nerve to tell them yet, its just too cute!
A Girl and her Nipple
(Yeah I thought the title was pretty clever myself)
I picked Gerber brand bottles for my daughter whom is formula feed before she was even born. I chose them for the sole purpose that they fit on top of these perfectly:
These are single serving glass bottles that worked well for our hospital stay and the first few days at home.
This is the size of the first nipple that L Bean used. She was fine with it. It wasn't too small or too big, and this is the first thing she had in her mouth, obviously seeming normal to her.
This above nipple came in the second pack of bottles that I bought. I didn't notice that it was a bit smaller then the first one...(who measures nipples?) L Bean seemed fine with it.
This is the nipple size that came with the third pack of bottles that I bought. When I went to wash these I saw a noticeable size difference. What is this nipple for? An ant? Seriously it is so tiny. Needless to say L Bean thinks size does matter when it comes to her and her nipple!
